Position Title: Industrial Pipe Welder/Fitter
Location: Lancaster, PA
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire (Full-Time Opportunity)
Salary: $30-$55/hour depending on experience
This role is structured as a temporary-to-hire opportunity. Candidates will start their assignment through our staffing partner for approximately four (4) months. Successful performance during this period will lead to a transition into a direct full-time position with Deluxe Industrial.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Pipe Welder/Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, assembling, fabricating, and maintaining industrial piping systems. This role requires expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints, welding and fitting various types of pipes, and ensuring the structural integrity and safety of the piping systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Pipe Installation & Fabrication: Accurately measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angles using hand and power tools. Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications. Fit and weld metal components to fabricate piping systems using MIG, TIG, and other welding techniques.
• Welding: Perform welding operations on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other alloys. Use welding equipment to join pipes according to blueprints, schematics, and safety standards. Inspect and test welded joints and components for structural integrity.
• Blueprint Reading & Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and piping diagrams to determine the correct sequence of operations. Ensure accurate installation of piping systems by adhering to design plans.
• Maintenance & Repair: Troubleshoot and repair existing piping systems, including replacing damaged sections and updating system components. Perform routine maintenance to ensure the longevity and efficiency of piping systems.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Ensure that all welding and fitting work complies with industry standards and regulations. Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications:
• Education: High school diploma or GED required. Completion of an apprenticeship program or technical certification in welding, pipefitting, or a related field preferred.
• Experience:
o Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial pipe welding and fitting. Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding. Experience with a variety of piping materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and other alloys.
• Skills: Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and piping diagrams. Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Strong understanding of welding and piping safety practices and protocols. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment. Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights. Willingness to work in various environmental conditions (e.g., heat, cold, dust, noise).

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Millwright to become an integral part of our team. In this role, you will take charge of installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems and industrial equipment, playing a key role in ensuring seamless operations and successful project execution. This position demands expertise in precision alignment, mechanical troubleshooting, and a deep understanding of piping systems and their components.
Key Responsibilities:
• Installation & Maintenance: Assemble, install, and maintain industrial machinery, piping systems, and mechanical equipment according to specifications and safety standards.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including hydraulics, pumps, conveyors, and rotating equipment.
• Welding & Fabrication: Conduct basic welding and fabrication tasks as required for repairs and installations.
• Preventative Maintenance: Execute routine inspections and preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, technicians, and other team members to optimize operations and resolve mechanical challenges.
• Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work completed, including service logs, maintenance reports, and inventory usage.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED; technical/vocational training preferred.
• 3+ years of experience as a Millwright in industrial, manufacturing, or piping environments.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and piping systems.
• Familiarity with precision tools and equipment.
• Basic welding and fabrication skills (certifications are a plus).
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
